Sit / Stand Desk - CNC and Flatpack

This project involved developing a sit / stand desk kit for easy home assembly.

The project leaned heavily on CNC flat pack for the bulk of the design, using two sheets of high quality veneered ply; one sheet for the table top and one sheet for the draws and bracing. The design focused on low material waste, simple but functional aesthetic and ease of assembly.

The bracing elements also served as location points for the draws and solid wood elements so the whole project cam together with minimal fuss.

The project was completed with solid rosewood elements to provide beautiful focus points and detail for the centre desktop and under-table structural elements.
