Project Overview
An adaptable electronic keyboard cabinet that would discreetly fit in as more conventional furniture like a side bench or hallway cabinet.
The design uses hardwood elements for all outward elements and softer pine timber for the internal keyboard tray.
Create 3D model based on housing a Roland FP30 Keyboard to be manufactured with power tools by client. Provide renders, documentation and build instructions. Account for cable routing and internal power management.
The designed focused on simplicity and showing quality and beauty through high quality timbers. The keyboard tray is understated while being functional and sturdy with easy to manage internal cable routing.
Similarly the foot pedals are reworked from the included pedals and rebuilt into a solid timber block, this block seats within the back skirting brace and can be freely moved as suits the user.
Further refine digital assets and increase visual fidelity of models. Create detailed renders simulating the cabinet in lived spaces and provide use context.
